Depression

What is Depression?

Depression is more than just feeling sad for a little while. It’s like this heavy feeling that sticks around, making everything feel harder than it should be. It can mess with your mood, energy, and motivation, leaving you feeling empty, hopeless, or like you’re just going through the motions.

People with depression often lose interest in things they used to enjoy, feel drained all the time, or have trouble focusing. You might also feel like nothing’s ever going to get better, or you can’t escape the negative thoughts in your head.

It’s not always easy to spot, and it can look different for everyone. Sometimes, it shows up physically, too, like feeling really tired, having trouble sleeping, or even feeling aches and pains.
